On this week's episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and crew are in Glendora, California to rescue Britestar Tavern. Britestar Tavern is a beer only bar owned by Jim Reed who is an absentee owner. The bar has been losing money and Jon Taffer sees one of the problems is the bar's tap system which wastes a lot of beer. During recon, they also see a disorganized open mic night and a gross, chunky Bloody Mary mix.
During the Bar Rescue makeover, Jon Taffer decided to keep the name of Britestar Tavern. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Britestar Tavern since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):

Conclusion:
Jon Taffer and Bar Rescue decided to keep the name of Britestar Tavern and the reviews for the bar are mostly positive since the Bar Rescue makeover. It appears that the owner Jim sold the bar just three months after Bar Rescue came to the bar, so most of the reviews for the bar are under new ownership. The new owners have kept the name and the bar still only serves beer. Britestar Tavern will be marked as 'Sold' on the Bar Rescue Updates page.

Positive Reviews:
- "I stopped in for one beer. It's Kristen's fault I had 3. She was genuinely welcoming! And the handful of customers there were friendly, too! I felt nothing but good vibes here and will most definitely be back! It is hard to find customer service like Kristen gave. Kudos, Lady!"
- "Met Frank, Awesome guy. Very passionate about Britestar Tavern. I already love the place. Can't wait to come by. Be well"
- "Best Sangria ever. Good vibes! Owner's passionate about their Tavern. Live Band August 12."
- "This place has the most relaxing environment, not to mention the nicest bar tenders (Two beautiful young ladies right now). Also they have the sports channel going, along with classic rock. If those things don't appeal ( ) then maybe the pool table and a stage for karokee does. The bartender says that they have band and taco nights too. Looks like I will be back."
- "Super cool low key bar. Good Halloween decorations and good prices on beer. Go Dodgers!!"
- "Britestar is a fun place to hang out. We've been there on Thursday nights for Open Mic Night and enjoyed a lot of great talent. It's definitely not your typical dive bar. Kristin is awesome as a bartender. She's bubbly and full of positive energy which adds to the already fun atmosphere. Try it out - you won't be disappointed!"
- "Great bartenders. Fun entertainment. Cool atmosphere. Wish there was a full bar but they do have a lot of beer selections."
Negative Reviews:
- "They learned nothing from Bar rescue imo. Said they had no hard liquor, but the shelf was full. it took the bartender 15 minutes to make two beers that had tomato juice in them. Complete buzz kill. Rude crowd and lazy bartender."
- "it was cold in there and waitress ignored us so we decided to call it a night. Waitress didn't even notice us getting up to leave because she was on her phone. ...very disappointed in the service, can't say anything about the drinks and prices because we didn't have a chance to order anything!"
