In this week's episode of Bar Rescue, the show is in Chesterfield, Michigan to rescue Pete's Cutting Board Sports Bar & Grill.  This rescue is being done by chef Jason Santos.  The owner of Pete's is drinking excessively in the bar while his kids try to run the bar and make it a success.  During recon, the bartenders cannot make basic drinks, while Pete is in the bar drinking and not helping out.

During the Bar Rescue makeover, Bar Rescue decided to slightly change the name of Pete's Cutting Board Sports Bar & Grill to Pete's Butcher Block and the bar has kept the name. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Pete's Butcher Block since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):

Positive Reviews:
  • "Great place to hang out for drinks and food. Bartenders are amazing"
  • "Been here 3 times food is awesome and comes out quick and hot. Staff is also great. Definitely a fun place to be."
  • "Always a great time at Petes. The food is great and so is the service."
  • "Best corned beef in town. Very friendly wait staff and bartenders. Love chicken tenders and mushrooms. Going back for more love this place "
  • "The food was very tasty. Trivia night is a blast. Our waitstaff and the manager were extremely attentive and came by multiple times. They make sure that everything was done correctly and make sure our drinks were full."

Negative Reviews:
  • "After watching the work going on over the summer we wanted to check it out. Tuesday's night, bar stools full, couple of tables eating. She had a cheeseburger plain didn't come with fries or chips $11.50. Believe it was an extra $2.00 for fries. Said it was okay. Had the Lamplighter, again didn't come with fries or chips. Corned beef was totally tasteless, bread was very soggy and greasy. Disappointed"
  • "I was hoping for a good sandwich. Failed"
  • "This place is way too overrated $14 for a Ruben is insane for what it is unless you like dry flavorless meat. This one can’t be rescued."
